History Little Companions Leicester first opened its doors in 2016. The site, located on 28 Saxby Street, is situated in South Highfields which has been a rich and multicultural part of Leicester for the past 100 years. The nursery is located in one of the main Victorian buildings in the area and much of its structure remains as it was during the early 1900s. Ethos We are a Montessori-inspired nursery which follows the EYFS framework closely to provide children with a holistic, safe and memorable education. Our aim is to provide the best possible care for children within a fun, stimulating and loving environment, offering outstanding opportunities for all children to learn through play and develop to their highest individual potential. Education Little Companions Leicester provides children with a Montessori-inspired curriculum which encourages independence. We view children as naturally eager for knowledge and capable of initiating learning in a sufficiently supportive and well-prepared learning environment. Staff Little Companions Leicester is staffed by a dedicated team of qualified practitioners who are carefully selected and trained in order to provide children and parents with a friendly, professional and memorable experience.
